Our Black Candle Dye Liquid are extremely concentrated and are the quickest way to color paraffin, soy, gel, and palm wax. Requiring only a gentle stirring to achieve an even and consistent color, our liquid dyes mix easily, leaving no particles or sediment in wax.  You can also paint embeds or wax molds with our dyes.

 Our liquid dyes are meant to save you money

Just 1 oz. of dye brings 100 lbs. of wax to a medium shade of color. On a smaller scale, this is equivalent to using about 7 or 8 drops per pound of wax.

True Color

The black dye is truly black when used in 50/50 Soy/Paraffin wax. I was a little skeptical it would come out a dark gray, but much to my surprise, the wax turned black with a few drops. I'll be purchasing more color. Another plus, it didn't smell like chemicals. I suggest adding a drop or 2 to 16 ounces of wax and drop a little on a wax paper and letting it dry to determine if you want to add more dye. This was my first time ordering from Sozo Essentials and my experience was great. The owner is very personable and cares about your experience. I love the flyer that was included with my order introducing the owner (Shauna) and the company. Also, a personal email was sent from Shauna asking about my experience. It was a nice personal touch and very much appreciated. I will order again from Sozo Essentials very soon. I'm browsing the site to see what I need. Even better, I can use my Afterpay! What a bonus?
